The L-Block Type Wheel Assembly is a robust and compact arrangement used in EOT cranes for supporting and guiding crane end carriages on crane rails. The wheel is housed in an L-shaped fabricated or machined steel block, allowing easy mounting, alignment, and maintenance.

The assembly consists of a crane wheel mounted on a hardened axle, supported by anti-friction bearings housed within the L-block. The L-block design enables accurate load distribution, smooth travel, and quick replacement of wheels or bearings without dismantling the complete end carriage.

This type of wheel assembly is suitable for moderate to heavy-duty crane applications and is commonly used in long travel (LT) and cross travel (CT) mechanisms of EOT cranes.
